its a pretty standard situation, we've all been there. the toast is browning nicely, the water is approaching the boil, the cup is ready teabag in place, and u delidify the butter and the vegemite. the toaster then kindly ejects its contents which u lube up with some butter to make the vegemite nice and easy to spread - when the panick lands... WTF happened to the last of the vegemite!?! then the bastardly ritual of scraping every last bit out of the jar to give a smidge of pleasure to the morning routine. grrrrrrr.
well, i have a solution that will end those nasty starts to the day. keep a few extra jars stashed in the cupboard! after the great vegemite shortage of August 2003, i now keep at least 4 jars in reserve - currently i have 6. so this morn as the knife scraped bare jar, i did not fret, i just opened the cupboard and got a new one out.
no need to thank me for improving your life, its totally my pleasure!

i follow weather on 3 different sites...they don't all agree, and they change on a half daily basis.
try yahoo weather ski the forecasts change prompty, the depths much slower, and there isn't any info on quantity. the yahoo town forecasts, tho, give 3 hourly details on precipitation for the coming 24 hours.
the yahoo snowmen don't mess around changin their hats

judge jules, hey?
i saw him play before he became a big time radio 1 man, in a club with about 100 people.
so that is old times!?

i hears ya.
my local before sold 'em happy chicken eggs, and i bought 'em.
but now the GF does all the shopping (cos i, um, do all the forum work) and none out of our 3 nearest supermarkets sell free range.
i refused to believe this when i was first told, but alas it is true. and the extra effort to find the free rangers is not offered.

i love ice cream in winter, cos its, um, lets see...because it shows my dominance over the environment.
yeh, that's right!
y'know, like a smoker shows his control over fire by breathing in smoke, i emphasise my homeothermic perfection by eating frozen dairy products while it snows.

nozawa, dyna, and takasu are also using them.
so together with 47/goryu and niseko, thats everywhere i go is using them!

i tried the f22's on in the shop and they felt great! like no other boot.

a friend of mine entered a roadhouse in the north of WA where some midnight oil was playing. as she paid for her fuel some bloke talking to the shop guy said, "what is about midnight oil? all they sing about is abos and mining"
to which my friend replied, "nah, they sing about rednecks, too"

my partner looks like cancelling on me, so i'm alone, but busting to go somewhere this weekend.

my K2 board has a 4000 GCX base!!
supposedly its a ceramic wax free base.
whether this means it doesn't ever need waxing is something i'm not sure of.

does this include gifts for yourself??
whenever i buy new snow gear my excuse is - its for christmas. then i have to buffer that purchase with something for the lady with the same excuse. this includes snow holidays, in fact everything bought or paid for in december is for christmas.
so i'm a big spender.
on christmas day, however, i'll get and give nothing.

saw two runaway boards on sunday.
that is some scary shit.
scarier was the inaction of people on the slopes.
the second board i saw must have slid passed 10 people by the time i (seated) noticed it. so i shouted 'abunai' loudly and repeatededly as slid passed another group standing below. it then hit a bank and slowed to an almost stop about 100m away, but no one helped to retrieve it despite numerous people being close by.
it then continued its bust for freedom and slammed into the snowboard of a resting boarder, who hadn't even noticed it approaching. fortunately this person was on her knees facing up slope.
it seeemed almost noone else was willing to provide warning. and if they were a single shout was sufficient.
in fairness, a couple of people had tried to stop the first board i saw. but it was n a far less dangerous stituation on an unpopulated slope, with noone in apparent danger. but the second one was scary.

dyna for me. lots of snow in takasu, powder aplenty, and smiles abounded.

woo hoo, hakuba highland had 147 people thru the gates in april.
imagine if all those people lined up at the same time for the same lift on the same day... that would be really frustrating
