  1. I have to admit like Cat stephens said, the first cut is the deepest. I was with my first love for nearly two years in college and when we split up I was a mess for months. Should have broke all contact but tried to remian friends and it was like a knife twisting into my heart. Always thinking what she was doing, who she was with, putting on the brave face when I saw her with someone else. Man that was one time in my life I don't want to go through again, but with the nelp of goood friends and good times I got back on track. It is a hard time.

  2. A back up plan is always a good idea. Hard to feel bad and think of the ex when you are in the throes of a good orgasm. Other than that:

    1. Always try to be the dumper, not the dumpee

    2. Go out and do all the things that you couldn't do easily while in a relationship

    3. Have fun with your friends and feel good that you have a good crew of people that you enjoy hanging out with and that enjoy your company as well

And don't mope, no one likes a moper!

  3. Oooh god what is that yuppie meat market pub.....Heartland that's it. Jesus what a shallow pit of pretentious hell that place is. Packed to the gills with rich [censored], wannabe bankers and gold-digging hussies out for a trophy husband or a platnium Amex card with a dick.

    Yeah it's a great place, I love it lol.gif

  4. Yeah that was from me Thunderpants. A geeky friend of a friend from the US that used to work in Australia. Bit of a crack up hey?

A couple of years ago they released a Tron 2.0 PC game that was brilliant! I highly recommend getting it if you liked the original movie. I loved the movie and always remember my Trom hand-held video game, in particular the light-cycles.

Beleive it of not I have found a link. Gotta love the intarweb!

  5. I think one of the most important aspect regarding food in any country is the access to a large variety of fresh ingredents at a reasonable price. This I found lacking during my time in Japan. If you have access to these, a good internet connection, basic cooking skills and a sharp set of knives, you can eat the best food from any part of the world in the comfort of your own home.

I love going to the small specialty butchers, delis, markets and fishmongers around here and buying stuff for a great weekend meal. And matching it with some great Margaret River wine. I think that one of the points 34 was making was a good one, that the food of a nation can't be judged by a couple of elite restuarants. The rest of the debate I am not touching with a 20-foot barge-pole. shifty.gif

So often these days when I go out for a meal I am dissappointed, and know that I could have cooked for people at home and had better service, all for 1/4 the price. If only someone would magically do the washing up \:D

Wouldn't the bag be picked up by dogs/x-ray (or in this case anyone with a working nose) at customs before baggage claim, so you wouldn't even get to see it and pick it up before getting busted? That was why I was confused with Kintaro's post as well. Or would they let you claim the bag first, and try and take it through customs before putting the cuffs on you? If the latter is the case then she probably should have noticed something was suss, heavy and stinky!
