  1. forgive me if i'm being naive, but is Cadbury's chocolate made in NZ?? Being that the Cadbury egg is such an american fixture around easter, I always thought, growing up, that Cadbury's was for sure an american chocolate company. I recently bought some caramello at an import grocery store here, and the address on the label said Cadbury Inc., NZ. This has turned my world on it's end... say it ain't so!!

kankei nai, but... Dars is my fav among j-choco. Milk chocolatey.... mmmmmm.

...either that or it's been too long since you've been back and had a slice of deliciously greasy new york pizza.
  3. Went to my 1st japanese wedding on sunday. All I can say is.... WTF.

I knew things were going to be interesting when the groom came out sporting a turban, riding a "horse" (two of his buddies wearing skin tight suits, one with a horsehead mask). There were a few strange games, one which entailed the bride and groom picking cell phone numbers of guests out of a hat, and calling the number. The person with the ringing phone had to do an "ippatsu gyagu." (Gag performance) in front of everyone. There was one guy who stripped down to his tighty-whiteys, (which had a big red dot painted on the front of them), then proceeded to stand on his head while his buddies raised his underwear down his legs singing the japanese national anthem.... I think the highlight for me was the group of people dancing while singing the "Yoka chinchin" song each holding a phallus at their crotch (including a couple of girls too).

This is only Japanese wedding I've been to, so I have no frame of reference... but any of you had similar experiences?
