Sorry sunrise. I think you mentioned this elsewhere. Some people seem to get this, lots don't. There is nothing we can do about it unfortunately. (Are you signed up and logged in when you try to view them?)
If your case where for some reason the connection is not downloading it smoothly for you, why don't you let it download and do something else for a few minutes and then re-watch it the video from the beginning once it has all downloaded. That way it really should not have any problems.
-
OK update on this. I have done some geeky stuff and now more of the photos are appearing in the original post. (Not all, but I can't do anything about the others). I will explain to SJForums so he can update you on what was happening here. Thanks.

"Remember Me" functionality has been added to the snowjapan.tv site. If you now check the Remember Me box when you login to the site, it should keep you logged in for the next time you visit.

The main mountain photo used is Hakuba, but not as nature presents the mountains. There is actually some elements of other places in there incuding somewhere in Akita, Niseko, Myoko, Yuzawa, Shiga Kogen and a few other places, though you would be pushed to actually find them. Definitely there in spirit though You'd have to ask #1 for the details on that.
-
Just to be a bit clearer - so people don't need to login each time they visit....
-
Early next week we will be adding "Remember Me" functionality to the login for the .tv site.
-
The "Last 5 users online" and visitor count for snowjapan.tv don't seem to be working correctly - we're looking into this and hope to fix it soon.
-
If you're not logged in just a few minutes a day.
If you sign up and login you get unlimited access. So if you are going to use the site we'd be happy if people do that.
These things are subject to change as we assess how bandwidth issues etc go over the coming days and weeks.
Thanks.

A new Feature by Nick Kowal (Fattwins) "2006-2007 Season Review", has been put online.
http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/features-fattwins-season.html
"What to say about last season really? I can't say that I skied anything super deep or that I even skied in the resort areas very much at all....
The ski season started off with a bang. Getting early top-to-bottom powder turns on Dec 4th at Happo-One Ski Resort when it wasn't even open, I thought, "Man this season is going to rock!"
My season did rock, but it was the conditions that dictated which way my season would go.
From the outset, I thought that I would be touring more this season. I really don't like to tour after big storms so that usually means a late start, say sometime in February, when the snow slows down a bit. However, due to a slow snow year I started to tour much earlier—on the 2nd of Jan—and just never looked back. That first tour ended up setting the tone for the season.
For the first time ever for me in Japan, if I was going to ski powder, I was going to have to look for it. I really do love exploring and explore I did."

A new Feature by Ben Gibson (Oyuki kigan) "Snowboarding Instructing in Japan", has been put online.
http://www.snowjapan.com/e/features/features-snowboard-instructing-in-japan.html
"My first season was at Karuizawa Prince, a few years ago. I was a part-time instructor, and managed to get the job though a friend who knew the head of the school. My Japanese was not stellar, and my qualifications consisted solely of my Level 1 Canadian instructors license (CASI). However, they thought it was novel to have a foreign instructor, which perhaps was my only saving grace as I sorely lacked practical experience. In the end, I was presented as any other snowboard instructor. There were one time I was asked to use English (my clients were from Hong Kong) but for the most part I taught in Japanese."
