  1. A gorilla has died at a zoo after accidentally hanging himself with a climbing rope.

Five-year-old Tatu was found dead with the rope around his neck in a sleeping room, according to officials at Prague Zoo.

Another gorilla appeared to be trying to help the stricken animal when staff arrived at the scene.

But it is believed Tatu unbraided one of the dozens of ropes the gorillas use in their pavilion for climbing and put a strand around his neck before tragically hanging himself.

Mammals curator Pavel Brandl said: 'It was an accident.' The ropes are checked daily, he added.

He revealed that another gorilla, Kamba, was by Tatu's side and was apparently trying to help the animal - but 'it's hard to say what exactly she was doing.'

    :(

  2. There's the Warehouse Deals bit in the US:

Amazon.com created "Warehouse Deals" to offer great deals on returned, warehouse-damaged, used, or refurbished products that are in good condition but do not meet Amazon.com rigorous standards as "new." On the Amazon.com site, Warehouse Deals functions like any other "Fulfilled by Amazon" merchant with items listed under the link on an item's detail page. Prior to offering an item for sale on Warehouse Deals, we verify physical and functional condition. Because we do not order inventory like a traditional store, we cannot guarantee availability of any item.

  3. Hmm from the stuff my partner has brought home from time to time, I really don't think it has been clear. They come in small paper bags with not much written on them.

There should be an information sheet accompanying them, though. Does your pharmacy not give them out? (I assumed it was a requirement.)

And, I don't know about anyone else, but if I go to a doctor, I want them to tell me what is wrong with me and what I need to take take. Taking medicine that a doctor has given me is definitely not something that I - knowing nothing - should be making my own judgements on. I want to be told. Surely

Huh, maybe my doctor is even better than I thought. He does give me that kind of information generally. (In addition to the printed info sheet that the pharmacy gives out.)

    Is this a rarity?

When I got stuff for my cold/flu a few years back, there wasn't much writing going on. Seemed like lots of packets and just told to take 'em.
