  1. Can anyone recommend a good ryokan in the city? Tokyo Central, somewhere friendly and easy to get around. i checked out websites - Taito ryokan - seems pretty basic...no baths? Tama ryokan - seems friendly, english speaking.their prices are great,any such places that you would personally recommend? price about $30USD slightly daunted by the idea of communal bathing... does any ryokan bath have showers or at least curtains/doors? the ones i found all seemed to have "open style" communal baths and the ones with private bathrooms comes with a nice tag.   3. Would it be smarter to hit the resort on a weekend or weekday then? weekends=crowds but weekdays possibly some facilities or lifts closed? vote: saturday/sunday/monday ? which are the days where you get cuties?
  4. Hey how about Naeba and the Asagai snowboard park nearby? Naeba apparently opens early November, would that be fake snow then?

  6. Hi , i'm making a trip early december, 5 to 10th weekend to Tokyo,first time. Any suggestions on the resorts for a day trip (i did read the other thread)that will be open by early december? for snowboarding. what are the predictions for the season this end of year? what are the costs? thanks!
