It have a habit of scrolling down a web page by swishing up from the bottom of the scree, and not bring up that control center a lot by mistake. Sppose I'll just have to adapt.

I have admired your positive-ness through all this Metabo Oyaji, and indeed the crazy. sensationalism around the time was sometimes very annoying (meltdown!!!......er.,,,,) but I think perhaps 'they' have earned the increasing mistrust that many people have regarding what we are told about Daiichi....and indeed their ability to even know what the hell is going on over there.
Wouldn't live within 100km of the place, preferably way further away.

We have a Do Not Call register here in Aus. It is supposed to prevent this from happening if you register your phone number.
However there are a lot of exceptions...
I've been inundated with charity donation calls - multiple per day. It feels BAD saying it is annoying, and you feel like a jerk saying no...but the more I said yes to the more I got called...so now the answer is NO.

I think they're about 60km away.

Friends of mine who have lived in the east side of Koriyama (for generations) have decided to up sticks and move down to Mie where they have connections.
They just can't live without the stress of worry and basically don't believe the information they are given.

To think, at any moment there could be a huge quake and the lives of many many people not just nearby change forever.
I have had that dream a few times. It wasn't fun.
