yeah i reckon spys are the go. in a powder resort such as niseko, you need yellow lenses, i tried clear a night, but they dont bring up the definition like the yellow lenses.
i agree with the other guys, you wont get a non fog lens/goggle.
expect to pay around Y16000 for a pair in jimbocho and heaps dearer on the slopes!!

yeah i agree with nat, you have to find japanese friends and/or rent a chalet with friends/anyone and create your own parties. get to know some locals is a major thing and join in on their parties, some of the best parties i have been to are in japan! kareoke with the japanese is an awsome experience too, they seem to really let thier hair down!!!

yeah i have ridden niseko pow on a 162 burton FL (weigh 78kg) the last 2 seasons and had a blast.... dont worry the bmc will do fine (it would want to!!). -

yeah niseko back country goes off if you know where to go... been going there for the past two seasons. if you spend a bit of time there and get to know the terrain and a few locals you will have a blast!! it seariously has the best tree runs any where. especially at night off piste with minimal lights!
What is the night life like in niseko as well?
as far as night life goes it can be good, the pow pow is probably the first place you will find. but try the gen tem bar on the road that heads up to the gondola.... there are also a few other places around town, but can be a little hidden
