Yeah i have my mobile backed up to my PC.... i know this may be a little irrelivant as Nokia's ar'nt sold in Japan, but my nokia phone came with its own software called nokia pc suite, which also converts MIDI files to ring tone, pictures for screen savers and wall papers etc. All i had to do was buy an infra-red device that USB's into the PC then i just point the infra red lens of the phone at it and away it goes..... quite a handy little device. I also have my Ipaq (pda) synced as well, it stores all the names etc in outlook and is synced with MS "active sync".
All sounds a bit over the top and outrageous but i love gadgets!!!!

i just got back from 2 days at thredbo myself (and spent a day at perisher on friday). yeah, is looking pretty good for this time of year. it was pretty icy though, and the 5-10cm they had on sunday was much needed, though it didnt really help its cause too much.
love thredbo myself.... just cause its nice and (consistantly) steep . and it doesnt seem to get too crowded.
s/freak..... the new 8 seater is a crowd buster... it should have been there 5 years ago! but it only gives you access to front valley

and the list goes on Kamo
i flew Qantas business class earlier this year and without hessitation they handed out the good old metal cutlery, glass wineglasses, etc.... the thing is... if we wanted total security, they would have us boarding strip naked without any carryon luggage what-so-ever. well come to think of it, it wouldnt be so bad in first class if "insert your favorite celebrity of choice here" were to walk on NAKED
life is full of risk... and international/domestic flights are just one of them. we can only minimise the risk on them i guess.
pardon the clice
but
probably have more chance of getting run over by a buss me thinks!!!

well rumour has it that africans started HIV... why cant we have our own disease!!
-
well it just goes to show that security on commercial aircraft is very difficult to police. all that hijacker had to do was strap the timber steak to his calf/arm etc and walk through the "security gate" and away he went.... come to think of it... am surprised no-one else has done the same since S11

well i think kintaro we have covered this topic before about "septic" in another thread.... i used it and upset a lot of sensitive people, people who dont like unsolicited comments...

one of them had their tockies out at one stage and all the ewoks were getting excited!!!

yeah man.... will be here all winter, may get the odd weekend or 3 riding down here.... makes it a bit hard when you live 750kms from the nearest lift!!! thinking of coming over?
hmm, coopers....never really been able to read the writing on it as it is pretty small, and after 8 or so schooners, makes thing a little hard to read! but will give it a crack..... good drop, generally easy to come buy in all good offies and bars. think there is a bitter and a draft (hence the red and green).... and say that coopers is made in south austalia
woops here we go bad migrain.... was a little off the mark, this will help you out!!
http://www.coopers.com.au/beers/c.htm
that will cover it
yeah its kinda seen as an "enthusiasts" beer, i reckon if you threw a fancy lablel and a higher price on it then you would call it an "premium beer"
budweiser equivilant.... now theres a hardy, depends if you are asking about reputation, easyness to come by, or taste?
here we go, i hope i dont upset any fellow drinkers!
reputation=fosters, because anyone other than an Aussie, thinks that that is all we drink, to tell you the truth, i only drink it when i fly with Qantas, cause that is the only time i see it?!!?!?! and yes i dont mind the odd fosters
easyness to come by= VB Made south of the border, and is and Australan staple (would have nearly said "tooheys new" but its a little harder to come by all ver the country
taste= nothing made by an Australian company, because we wouldnt know how to brew something that tastes like dirt

whats the damage on one of those ender?
i was in yodobashi (Sapporo) earlier this yeah and saw dvd burners for sale, cant remember the price though... think maybe around 55 000. but i wasnt sure if it would work here on my pc here in Oz.... voltage differences??? wasnt sure if that would make a difference? needless to say i didnt get one!
