My cousin lives in New Orleans. Well, lived perhaps I should say. I haven't spoken to him myself but I hear from family that his family are all alive and well - but their home has pretty much been wiped out. Could have been worse. Mad scenes on the tv though, incredible they were not more prepared for this.

Some of you are either very rich, unemployed, have a cushy job where you can take time off, or live near to the slopes.

I went and thought it was ok - nothing particularly exciting. I think the crowds on the day I went were a bit of a downer.... it was just too busy.

It took me a while to get used to driving in the different kinds of snow conditions here over winter, and looking back I was probably quite dangerous to myself and others at the beginning.

Mine gets paid before I get my hands on my money (as part of the aparto-dai deal). Wasn't happy when I first found that out but nothing I can do so it doesn't bother me any more.
