This still makes me laugh and/or cry!

Yes just saw that
The Fifa president Sepp Blatter made the startling disclosure yesterday that he could not rule out a rerun of the voting for the right to host the 2022 World Cup finals which was controversially won by the tiny Arab emirate of Qatar in December.
Blatter, who is seeking re-election next month for a fourth term, said that a Fifa inquiry into claims made by The Sunday Times that there was corruption in the vote could lead to the Fifa executive committee (ExCo) voting again. It would represent the biggest U-turn in the governing body's history.

Both FA and FIFA are just unimaginably hopeless.

I couldn't see the real point behind "smartphones" until I got one (from work). I get it now, and really enjoy using it. Don't go overboard but some of the features are really useful to have.
And I'm pretty sure that if some feature "breaks" (?), I just go into Docomo and they give me a new one. As I take a regular backup there's not much hassle there.

Thanks r45.
Will look into this, good idea.

Dull morning in Tokyo. Quite warm though.
-
But that is still a fair while off.
I read they are still going to continue making the normal PSP, it's just the Go that is fail.
Is it surprising?
-
Which one specifically did you get r45?
-
Certainly standing by some cement, not sure what kind though.

I'm looking forward to the day when we don't think about earthquakes every day and night and are always wary of them. I have recently realised and noticed that I have actually been pretty stressed out and bottling it up. Need a break on sturdy ground methinks.

Is there any kind of regulation/laws regarding safety bars on ski lifts (here or overseas)?
Seems to me that some lifts that could really do with them don't have them, and the ones that go over a flat area do!
-
Definitely lifts are never fast enough.
Pairs should be renamed Pains.

Do you look like a monkey gimp with a strange beard and have tattoo sleeves?
Perhaps people mean Beckham circa 2000

I'm the type who just shoves things aside when finished with, no organisation at all. One year I did that and let my gear fester. It was a right off when I looked for it next December. Decided to get a new jacket and boots it was in such a bad state.

Cut off their balls, I say.
Quote:Police in southern Russia are investigating allegations of animal cruelty after a donkey was made to parasail as part of an advertising stunt, Russian media report. The donkey was sent up into the sky last week by entrepreneurs hoping to attract people to their private beach.
Witnesses near the beach on the Sea of Azov in the Krasnodar region said the animal had been screaming in fear.
It landed in the water and was pulled onto the shore, said police.
"The donkey screamed and children cried," regional police spokeswoman Larisa Tuchkova told AFP news agency.
"No-one had the brains to call police."
Instead, bystanders took photos and phoned newspapers, she said.
"It was put up so high into the sky that the children on the beach cried and asked their parents: 'Why did they tie a doggy to a parachute?'" Taman newspaper reported last week.
"The donkey landed in an atrocious manner: it was dragged several metres along the water, after which the animal was pulled out half-alive onto the shore," the paper reported.
Police began to investigate after the incident, which occurred at the coastal village of Golubitskaya, was aired on national news on Tuesday.
The businessmen responsible may face criminal charges for animal cruelty, according to news agency RIA-Novosti.

Some of those car navis now are pretty advanced.
I really enjoy using them, and even people without Japanese knowledge will have little problem using them. Perhaps need help with programming a route or whatever but after that simple.

The pool really should repay the favour united gave them by beating city by beating chelsea. Its just manners.

We should really call it Chomolungma.

Nice job, going up there to move corpses.
Quote:A team of Nepali mountaineers will leave Kathmandu tomorrow heading for Mount Everest, the world's highest peak, where they hope to climb to more than 8,000 metres (26, 246ft) to clear the mountain's "death zone" of tonnes of rubbish and remove the bodies of dead climbers.Though many foreign and Nepali expeditions have set out to clear parts of the mountain in the past, Namgyal Sherpa, leader of the Extreme Everest Expedition 2010, said no one had tried to clear at that height. "This is the first time we are cleaning the death zone. It is very difficult and dangerous," said Namgyal, who has climbed Everest seven times.
The zone earned its name because it is almost impossible to survive the harsh temperatures and the thin air of such altitudes, where there is a third as much oxygen as at sea level for more than a couple of days. Anyone who remains within the zone for longer will almost certainly perish.
The climbers will use special bags to collect the bodies – which lie between the South Col and the 8,850m (29,035ft) summit – before lowering them down the snow and icefields of the mountain and then carrying them across the glaciers to base camp. The expedition hopes to retrieve five bodies, including that of a climber killed two years ago.
Scores of corpses preserved by the freezing temperatures remain on the mountain, some for decades. "I have seen three corpses lying there for years," Namgyal said. "We'll bring down the body of a Swiss climber who died in the mountain in 2008 and cremate it below the base camp, for which we have got the family's consent."
