I think you'll find that internet cafes are almost non-existant in many mountainous little villages. Or is it I just haven't seen them?

Hey chuck, thanks for the report.
Any brown showing through yet up there?

Go for it Stickshift man!
If I had the choice I would be jumping at the Karuizawa option.

Even if they do, there'll be hardly anyone interested......

Had some local brewery beer my Japanese mate sent down here from Yuzawa last night - really nice. Yuzawa Kogen Beer the place is called - anyone been? He says its somewhere near the bottom of Iwappara near the river.

It is struggling it seems, but the price for Europe was way out there - the new price is much more realistic. Interesting business, that one.

Them tower things scare the shit out of me much more than any coaster. They have one at Fujikyu I think but there's on in central Tokyo at Korakuen (next to Tokyo Dome) - I think that one's called "Tower Hacker" or something like that.
Scary.

Certainly pretty grim.
I always find this part really kinda sad - slopes looking like they're gasping to stay alive, etc.

22 degrees in Yuzawa. Wow, that's shot up hasn't it? Where's "blinkin'ek" when you need him.

Just saw your page on the site Ocean11. Nice one. Is this your pic of you getting ready for your Trekkie convention?
Maybe I should throw some pics up too...

Couldn't give a crap - happy for others to celebrate with 3000 others under leaves on 10 trees...but not for me.

Hmm, interesting. 1999 was good - pity I didn't make it up there. So maybe next year will be a bumper

Hi klingon. Think we're lucky hey? Got to survive the summer in Japan, which is not fun (for me anyway). Sweatfest or what?
