The actor Richard Kiel, famous for playing the steel-toothed villain Jaws in James Bond films, has died at the age of 74.
Kiel died at Saint Agnes medical centre in Fresno, California, the hospital confirmed without giving further details, citing patient confidentiality.
TMZ said the towering 7ft 2in (218cm) character actor died a week after breaking his leg – it was not immediately known if the death was related to this.
Kiel was one of the most memorable villains in two of Roger Moore’s best Bond films, The Spy Who Loved Me in 1977 and Moonraker in 1979. He was also cast as Mr Larson in Adam Sandler’s 1996 golf comedy Happy Gilmore, and voiced the villain Vlad in 2010’s animated princess tale Tangled.
Kiel, who was born in Detroit, made his small screen debut in a 1960 Laramie episode called Street of Hate.

Well, I do love my iphone and ipad.
They are very well used gadgets.
But this watch? Nah.
Apple TV? Nah.

I don't like the Apple Watch look.
Still, I really don't like the "look at me" Omega-style look either.
For that much money, you'd think they'd make something better looking.
They all look very similar to me. Just scream tosser in slightly different volumes.

Yes, I am quite hurt indeed.
GoNative's never-ending natural flair for wit though makes up for it all.
I never quite get the instant fanboy stuff though. If I liked Android, would I be an Android fanboy. Can't I just like and enjoy something. Actually, they're not really questions.

My 2 years is also up which means so are the discounts I had until now. So it's all by the catalogue now.... just need to know whether I can get that discount on the hardware by paying over 2 years.
I really would like to avoid the shop. They annoy me. Well apart from the Docomo ladies.

I have a question.
OK so I am going to get a dekai iphone 6, and stay with au, the complete bastards.
But I can't work out how much worse off I'd be if I got a sim free.. rather than buy through au.
Looking at the au site now, for example I can get a iphone 5s for 68,040 yen (2835 yen x 24 months).
Or is it 24,850 yen over 24 months with effectvely 1800 yen off per month.
It's unclear if that is if I join up for a new data plan or not. Is that waribiki available for current customers just moving to the new phone? Or would I effectively be pying 68040 for the phone over 24 months?
Can someone clear that one up for me. My head is confused.

I think I might go the sim-free road.
Stick with au while I research cheaper options with a view to doing that.
Being able to swap when overseas is appealing.
Bit of an adventure, will report on how it goes.
