  1. Saw it by luck the other day.

    Not very good I thought.

These gyus ended not doing many lines, so they had to fill it with history stuff and where the girl came from and that she had 3 brothers, etc.... blah blah blah

The little BC riding footage they had was excellent though.

It seems they were riding spring conditions in AK.

I do not think sponsors would have taken the risk to let SW and other sponsored kids go in the middle of the powder season (they must be too busy anyway).

Why take a heli to the top of a AK mountain to build a kicker?

Not sure, guess snow and views are better... Seems silly.

The air they got though was amazing!

Farmer is wayyyyyy past his prime, he talks a lot about experience...

The ride down 7601 was very nice to watch.

I can understand why the others had decided to turn around.

  2. I was just wondering what country was starting by 63 since when I drop my kid to nursery I always see this car with a blue plate starting by that number. Just plain curiosity.

I found a site explaining the diffence between embassador, etc...

so what could possible fall between 58 and 68 posted by Sanno above?

I assume it is in alphabetical order based on the english name.

CB, I know where you live, I have the means to make you confess sins you have not even thought about commiting yet... \:D

  3. I was told Sapporo direct flights from australia are now gone. I am not sure whether this is accurate or not, maybe somebody can confirm. If Niseko was so popular, and flights from australia always full, I am wondering why the direct flights would be cancelled?

I was also told this is going to dent real estate prices substantially and pretty quickly and burn quite a few people who have invested to speculate there despite the new resort management and the other flights from Asia. I assume that people who are invested or own something there will disagree, just wondering what peeps think in general.

It would seem to explain why Hakuba is becoming ever more popular (beyond the usual terrain/snow arguments). If you have to change plane in Tokyo, you may as well head over to Haks.

It all seems fad-related boom-bust locust action supported by individuals/firms with commercial interests. I wonder where the next fashionable ski destination will be in Japan after Niseko and Hakuba. It will also be interesting to see what happens once the AUD starts weakening and the impact on vacationers coming from Australia.
