Perhaps someone pushed him, or he has a jet engine attached?

As thursday said elsewhere:
Doner kebabs, lots of chili sauce, greasy greasy hot cardboard "meat" raw onions between graeasy chili soaked pita.

Sounds great that.

Yes I think a bit of lack of stock etc luck was involved there.
But are Sony that bad usually?

There was something ok tv last week that showed lots of places in Japan from above. Fuji looked awesome.
-
Not had any really since then so in need of snow I'm afraid. Much like most other places I suppose.
-
Nice! That will encourage me to take some nice Zao pics this year.
-
A good word though. I can't believe my Zao thread is Ukulele themed now!

There are a few "connecting runs" that connect different areas of the mountain (which by the way is owned by 9 different lift companies! A world record surely!)
They can be annoying, but as long as you know where you are going and don't get caught out, it can be minimised.
Zao has some steep slopes but I would say it is probably best suited to someone who might call themselves intermediate and below. There sure are a lot of trees and the area is huge so I'm sure naughty people can find illicit places to play.
But it is most definitely worth a visit. Great snow, great views, nice little onsen village. In quite a few ways it is similar to Nozawa Onsen and has the same kind of appeal.
It's about 30 minutes drive from where I live, so I'm not actually there all the time unfortunately!

I uploaded some pics to SJ (first time - really easy )
I made a gallery:

I have just come back from 4 hours at Zao (Yamagata).
It rocked more than a big rock having a party in Rocksville.
A large part of the resort is already open and you can ski right from the very top down to the bottom. The snow was good and there's lots of it - hardly a bare patch in sight and up at the top it was nice and fluffy. Some of the monsters were even starting to appear.
I took loads of pics and so I'll upload them to SJ and link them in tomorrow.

I want to try a few more places round there myself. Are you in Fukushima city or nearer the hills FF?
-
Nice and cool up here now. Almost chilly.

Welcome. Well, I'm not sophisticated but I'm not too far away.

I'm in Florida at the moment and enjoying a break from Japan with family. I'm hoping that by the time I get back to Japan it will have cooled down a bit.
-
It has to be Zao!
I'm slightly biased perhaps.
-
It would certainly be welcome.

I have never found things that seem to work for a cold and runny nose. It is not always possible of course but I like to get wrapped up in a very warm bed with extra blankets and have an extended sleep. Oh so good.

I got meeself a special chair and a special desk. Puts me in a good healthy position for working and I have noticed a difference. My neck and back are thanking me for forking out.
I'll try and find a pic of my setup.

One of the things I dislike most about Japan is this ridiculous mindset that is so often seen in offices where people stay late for no other reason than to stay late. I used to feel bad about leaving (nearly) on time but do not now. I just feel sorry for some of my colleagues.

While I don't support racist publications (of course!)....

I will probably be there around 15-20 times this season if I can. Right now I'm waiting for some more snow.
