  1. snowboards use to have inserts, to fix the binding with screws on the baord

a burton snowboard (3D system) looks like this:

    nose -> ( .:.: .:.: ) <- tail

(the dots should show you the inserts wink.gif, the single insert would be in the middle...)

all the other snowboards (4x4 system) looks like this:

    ( :::: :::: )

the distance between the holes are standart and should be on every board the same (kissmark might be special smile.gif )

    hope you understand this...

  2. my custom made "cosmic board" (made by doorslammer, switzerland) might be my favorite.

its royal blue, with yellow stars and a "cosmic sign" on the nose and the "Jamiroquai buffalo man" in the middle of oval yellow rings, on the tail.

on the base are 2 huge blue buffalo man head to head on blue/yellow foggy ground.

i designed it by my self.

but the edges are unfortunately damaged...

on the other side was my tanker (180cm) from radair.com also verry special...

i think not, it's written on almost every lift ticket or park that the companie don't take responsibility for accidents, happend coze you use the terrain.

i think they have to take resposibility if a tree would fall on you on a slope, if a gondola would fall down or if you get ishured by a rope stretched over a the slope....
  6. flowlab rocks!!

i was really sceptical when i saw it first. the shopowner allowed me to try it and its surprising!

it is not harder than skateboarding!!!

about the other board i'm a little scared, i never really tried it but the little weels under the axes look a little scarry to me...

but the cheapest way to enjoy something like snowboarding is to built some fat skateboardaxes and some soft weels under your old snowboard!

about the video games, did someone tested the snowboard game on the x-box???

    its amazing!!

  7. xxx, do you know "ska ska club"???

    it's a japanese ska-punk band, i like them!!

but last year was it the hate, allways when i got in to hard core riding i heard "your everything, your everything, your everything la la laaa la la la laaaaaa....."

(the la la la's where in japanese and i couldn't understand them.)

but that song was so ugly!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HATE!!!!!!

  8. ok we'll try it again!

regular and goofy are ways to stay on your board!

regluar = left foot as front foot

goofy = right foot as front foot

you choose one and that's enough for your entire life!

the best way to figuere out if you are goofy or regular is, to use a skateboard or to slide (over an icefield with your boots or on a wooden floor in the socks...)

regular and goofy is almost the same as you drive with a car in japan on the left and in america on the right side.

switch and fakie means "riding backwards"

switch is more common to discribes jumps and tricks, fakie is more common to describe riding.

if you do a switch jump, you are riding backwards to the kicker (it has nothing to do with the landing!)

if you riding fakie, you just ride backwards.

so if you are riding fakie or switch with your car, you just riding backwards.

the movement of the car and the gear will be the same in japan and in america!

some on this forum thinks, to learn to ride fakie or switch is easier if you change your bindings from regular to goofy, or from goofy to regular.

    i think not so!

it's fun to change your regular board with your friends goofy board just for 1 ride to try how it is. but it won't bring you much to learn how to ride fakie!

i'm a fast fakie rider, i feel safe to ride almost everything backwards.

but i really have problems when i change my regular board with my friends goofy board.

    is now everything clear??
