  1. I have a set of comformables in my boots. I am using a pair of Nordica Vertech 85 that I bought about 7 years ago and at the same time had a pair of comformables molded for my feet. I am still using the same ones. They are really comfortable although lack a little in shock asorbtion. Make sure you have all the latest bells and whistles in your boots for shocks. The conformables I use have a space blanket type material on the sole to keep the heat in and your piggys nice and warm and because they mold to your foot shape they are much more comfortable than factory soles.

If you want a good boot fit, but can't afford mold injection then I highly recommend comformables. Make sure you go to a good boot fitter who has experience with these things.

  2. Major rule with goggles. DON'T TAKE THEM OFF YOU FACE OUTSIDE! They will fog. Don't matter what brand. Simple physics folks.

I use Oakley A's and never had a problem with fog anywhere. Used 'em in Niseko, Niigata, Nagano. They have chageable lenses too if that's is a what you want.

I haven't used any other brand so can't help you there. The reason I haven't used any ohter brand is 'cause there is no need too.

  3. A Salomon pocket-rocket is the JP Aulson(? forgive the spelling) pro ski. I understand that it is a ski that combines and overtakes from the AK Rocket and the Super Mountain skis. It is a purpose made fat twin for both back country powder skiing/jibbing and terrain park.

The fact that it is such a new concept and new ski seems to make it almost a ghost of the net in terms of informative write ups.
