Hi guys, sorry if this has been asked and answered before but does anyone have any experience with checking in snowboards with ANA. We're off to Hokkaido on Friday, most of our party have takyubinned equipment but 1 guy arrives Thursday and will need to check in his Snowboard with ANA. I'm guessing thiey wont have an issue with it but does anyone have any experiences to back my faith up. Thanks.

Hi Riksu, I don't know the area real well but it sounds like they may have headed out through gate 5. From gate 5 if you traverse along the top and then drop off towards Hanazono you'll eventually hit a face known as Jacksons. From there it's quite a long push but you do come out at the Hanazono rest stop, might be called 308 now. I've only been out there a couple of times with a friend who knows the mountain real well, but no skins are required. Sorry I can't be of more help.

A Niseko fan here, I like the Annapuri back bowls and Jacksons out by Hanazono. Lots of guides for full or half day tours available.
