Inawashiro Resort to re-open in the future? Inawashiro Resort in Fukushima Prefecture has been closed since 2019, and it was unclear if the closure would be permanent. But there is good news! A company is taking control of the resort (ski area and hotel), and a possible re-opening of the ski area is on the cards in the coming years. Imajo 365 to re-open for the 2023-2024 season Imajo 365 in Fukui Prefecture has been closed for several years, but has confirmed that it will reopen this year. Just the Number 1 pair lift is scheduled to be moving. As of 17th December, details of lift ticket prices etc cannot be found. (No rush, guys!) Official snow depth data daily updates For the 2023-2024 season, we are reporting daily snow depth data for over 350 ski areas nationwide.... 35+ more than last year. The data is the official snow depth numbers that ski areas themselves publish. Important: Each ski area chooses where they take their measurements. (In some places) we display how the current number has changed (+/-) since the previous update. The data for all the ski areas is updated all at once, once a day.
