Sunday 7th April was the last day of the 2023-2024 ski season for over 40 ski areas in Japan. Just under 50 ski areas in Japan remain at least part open as of Monday 8th April 2024 (and one that plans to open soon...) Please note that both the opening and closing 'planned season dates' are not updated during the ski season. Ski areas may close earlier or later than those planned dates. And then the cycle will begin once again in the autumn!
