We don't like "subliminal adverts", but if anyone goes overboard with that kind of thing we will take care of it. Please mail us to notify us of things like this rather than posting in public. Thank you.

I am not talking referring to your post Domokun.
I am referring to 2 posts - that no longer exist - that consisted of an active hyperlink and absolutely nothing else (and interestingly 3 members sent us a moderator notication mail to let us know about it - thanks).
Please, if you (meaning "anyone") have comments or complaints about our policies, keep it offline via email or PMs. Thanks.

Folks....links will be removed, especially when accommpanied by.... not a single word as were two above.
We are not a link directory.
Thank you.

Quote:I've seen a few newsletters recently sent out by some Niseko based companies claiming that this season is a bumper one with lots of early snow. I thought I'd have a look at the real story so far.
Thanks for posting Go Native.
I have not seen any 'Niseko based company newsletters' of late, but as a general comment some of the totally misleading things I read from time to time in some places is distressing. I can't believe some places get away with it.
The "real story" is exactly what we strive to post on our Now reports and we will continue to do so. -
I have done it for you.

No, only this one.

They are good ones.
Selfish one - devote more time to myself.
Happy new year everyone.

Squampton I have edited out your email address from the post as it is probably best not to post in public. I have also swithed PMs on for your account so you should now be able to use them - but feel free to discuss it on here!
Thanks and happy new year to you too.
Hope to see your pics if you take any!

No, the heavy rain here would hurt.
Probably best to email or PM us with requests like this please.
Thank you.

Thanks Kingofmyrrh - moved!

Only slightly better, but not enough to open that particular run and the last 3 or 4 days has been quite warm so probably less than I remember back then..

We have fixed a small problem that we were experiencing with the map pages for resorts, like the one below.
They should not be displaying correctly:

OK thanks. If you still can't find it do let us know and we'll see what we can do (a few details would help!)
You should also be able to find it if you look at the "My Forum Posts" in "My Stuff" section.

Let us think about overseas trip reports. What do people think? Mixing them up with the Japanese TRs?
We get shouts and rotten tomatoes thrown at us when we dare open a new section to the forums so would like to think it through.
In the meantime overseas trip reprts are of course always very welcome in the General Snow Talk main forum.
Thanks for the comments.

I have just changed the default view of the main forums from "from the last year" to "all threads". This might make a difference when you search through things and you might now be able to find them. It might also slow the forums down so we'll keep an eye on this and if it proves to be a problem we might have to change that back.
If you take another look and still can't find it please let us know (perhaps by PM or mail) and we'll try to hunt it out for you. Like I said though I am 100% sure that your report will not have been deleted.
You can also manually change the default forums view by the way by using the "Display Options" drop down menus at the bottom of the main Forums page. It is (or was until I changed this) 12 months by default.

Hi SerreChe
Thanks for that. Not sure where they are but like I said above, they certainly haven't been deleted.
Let me take a look.....

You can tell those puzzled looked people to check the forums out!

Domokun, can we please keep the submissions to being sent by email?
For a number of reasons - if they are posted here other people might be put off from submitting, ideas might be "pinched", etc etc. We found last time that it was best for submissions to be sent to us rather than people just post them on here.
Thanks.

You can submit as many as you want to!

Domokun - thank you for your comments up until now and support in trying to get us to go ahead with this.

Take your arguments off the forums please folks.... and as I said before please mail us if you feel anyone is taking advantage of the Forums or similar rather than posting such things in public. Posting here only creates more problems for us.
Thank you.
