Personally I don't know, but the Niseko Now page had it's first post-summer update yesterday and we hope to bring news there in the run up to the season

Hopefully we might hear news of some sprinklings soon.

Hi bubz - normally you need to post 20 times on the Forums for PMs to automatically open up.
However, I have turned them on for you so from now on you should be able to use them. Thanks.
-
Welcome thatsme.
On the subject of searching for info on the site - we hope to be able to be making that rather easier in a month or two.
-
Actually I quite enjoyed learning it at the time.
But once I had, I had to then learn Photoshop.
-
Yes I think I remember that one.
I remember spending way to much time learning Corel Draw and for it to be a big waste of time.

Not true, and I totally do not appreciate that misleading comment along with the other similar ones you seemed fit to post that have already been taken out.
Your PM box is 'full' of a few polite requests within one PM thread asking you to:
a) refrain from continuing the personal/private comments/attacks in another thread and;
refrain from stoking the argument and persisting with the sarcasm directed towards me on the Forums (as per the above post).
Absolutely nowhere - both in that PM or on here - have I asked you to 'not state unpopular opinions', unless of course you count those as being in the two cases above. That is totally not the case. -
Seriously, I have just deleted 2 more posts here that were simply continuations of the previous line.
Seems that my post above, this one,
http://www.snowjapanforums.com/ubbthreads.php/topics/284910/Re_Lehman_Brothers.html#Post284910
wasn't clear enough.
Either that or some people think it ok to simply ignore my requests - and do so frequently. I don't take too kindly to that. (Would you?)
It is getting extremely annoying.
One more post that stokes up the little personal argument on here (or elsewhere on the forums) and that poster will get banned for however long I see fit.
OK? Up to you.
-
OK 2 simultaneously posted posts have been deleted and this is quickly going down a non-welcome and nastier personal path.
I do not have the time or inclination to waste any time dealing with that lot.
Personal arguments and insults - just take them elsewhere. Anywhere is fine - just not on these Forums. They do not belong here and I recall saying that before.
And please do not bother posting a continuation of this and/or comebacks on here (including personal/private comments about people either here or not), they will simply be deleted. And... it will really annoy me.
If you are going to post again in this thread, make sure it is on topic please - which was, I believe, Lehman Brothers.
Thanks.

I still use that one too sometimes for simple things. Pity they didn't continue it way back. -
Here is the news message we posted me jane

They'll be back up soon I would think.

Can I go with you?

Hello Boris
Here is our Aomori listings page:
http://www.snowjapan.com/e/resorts/atozlisting1.php?prefecture=Aomori
-
Quite good. Sometimes.
-
If you are ever 'not sure if you can post this', please feel free to contact us and ask - we won't bite and we would prefer that rather than having to deal with the 'not sure if we can post this' declaration at the beginning of a thread.
-
We had another "we'll pay today" promise earlier this week. Guess what, not paid and not contactable for the last 2 days again. It's almost funny.
As someone said previously though, don't want to give this compamny any publicity.... so currently discussing what to do about it.
Oh the adventures....
-
Have a good journey!

Hi Alex
I have turned on PMs for you, so you should be able to use them.
This is directed to everyone - having permissions set to use Private Messages on these Forums does not give you permission to use Private Messages to send out sales/advertising messages to other members. Sorry, that's not part of the deal. Yesterday we had someone who thought it was just fine to go through threads on here and PM'ing multiple members with their sales info. People who do that will get their privileges taken away, without question.
(While we of course do not read members Private Messages, such activity automatically gets flagged up in the system - and then we do look into it).
Thanks.
-
Thats good to hear zebedee.
From the feedback that I have heard, it seems to do the job, so to speak.
neversummer.... benefits? I suppose that would be a large number of people who are interested seeing it!
-
We had to do that ger, we were just getting spammers signing up and quickly posting crap just to get PMs and then trying to flood people with spam/ads. Of course not everyone would do that, but unfortunately, things like this do happen a fair bit and we need to protect the Forums. Some people who were not 'spammers' as such have previously signed up with little intention of taking part, just so that they could send advertising-like PM messages. Not on, that. That's why I asked my question up top.
(If someone with less than 20 posts on the Forums emails us directly to ask for PMs, we will often turn them on for them).
-
Quote:Is there any way to get around the 20 posts needed to activate the private messages or use chat box
No, there isn't.
And out of interest, if you do not wish to participat on the forums then why do you wish to use Private Messages? -
Services have been stopped because of the lack of payment - but there is an unpaid invoice for the services already provided.
-
I thought I might post this and see what others might do in this kind of situation.
Imagine that you have a 'customer' who has received services from you, but have not paid for those services.
They have said that they intend to pay and will do 'this week' on quite a few occasions, but it has just dragged on and on without the payment appearing and they basically cut off communication.
What do you do? This is just meant as a light-hearted look at the subject of people who don't pay!
