The good news though is that it is snowing and hopefully when I go past tomorrow morning and take a photo it will look different.

Here's the one in Yuzawa looking very "April". Unfortunately this photo was taken on 14th February 09.

Out of interest, is that a big hassle or too restrictive?

 

I know people will be using different software for photos, but if you use something like http://www.irfanview.com/ you can change them all at once and it is very simple.

 

I would think photos can all be shrunk down to looks really good below 500KB, and certainly if they were much bigger it would take longer to load and also take up much more space etc. But I am open to hearing thoughts on that.

Thanks. It has been a really awful day with one unwelcome thing and another.

I have been able to do about 30 minutes of what I planned to do today.

I think I'll take tomorrow off.

At least it is snowing outside!

It has been a trying morning, what with some server stuff going on.

Just totally not in the mood....

 

Then 'Brad' turns up with his blatant forums spam.

 

I thought I would just keep the above post on here - obviously changing the links and his company name to MYCOMPANY - just to show people some of the garbage we have to put up with. Sometimes it gets through like this one did. Happily, he only got approx. 60 seconds of airtime out of it.

Strange, I seem to have misplaced the cable I need to transfer the pictures from the camera - so I can't upload the photo from this morning for now.

 

Oh well, there is very little snow there now actually none around the phone just a bit behind the rail there. Like late March as Tubby said. We are in real need of snow in this area.
