.In terms of future mods, once I've saved up, the whole rear tub is getting chopped off and a fully secure canopy/tray combo will be fitted.
In the mean time I use the tub for survey pegs, stakes & tripods, with all the expensive electro-optical gear and the smaller bits and pieces going in the rear of the cabin where the rear seats fold up conveniently.
I haven't had a diesel in about 20 years and the one mistake I have made constantly today is just firing her up without waiting for the glow plug heating light to go off. It only stays on for about 1 or 2 seconds when the truck is being driven constantly in this weather, so hopefully I'm not hurting my new baby.

OK I've created a gallery here on SnowJapan & uploaded 2 pic's of my Baby.
However, when I come back to this post and click on the image icon, get the box asking for the URL and paste the URL of the image in the gallery everything just freezes up.
Suggestions please......I'd love to be a geek......

Jeeez...don't encourage him.
While it's fascinating watching your kids grow up, it's also a reality check in that they are very real people.
He just turned 13 in September, stands about 173 cm tall and weighs in at around 62kg.
The testosterone is obviously kicking in as his footy has gone from being skilful without much mongrel to mongrel with a bit of skill thrown in.
I'm sure all fathers of teenage boys will relate, but even up to a year ago if he put the grapple on I could easily cope without much effort. Recently he put me in a neck lock (while I wasn't looking) but locked it in, calling "tap out Dad or you're going under". After realising that despite my judo history and pride I was, in fact, going under I tapped out.
The thought of manning a ute-mounted machine gun would possibly be just too tempting for him so I won't show him this post as I don't really want Army Officer to be in his list of possible careers.

Gang of 14 'evil clowns' arrested for 'chasing people with weapons and laughing manically'
A 14-strong gang of pranksters parading as armed, sinister clowns have been arrested in southern France for threatening people with knives and guns.
The disguised mob were seemingly taking part in the 'evil clown' craze seen both in the US and in Britain.
The group were arrested last night in a school car park in the Mediterranean resort of Agde, with police claiming that they had been 'laughing manically' while chasing locals with weapons.
A French national police spokesman said: "Since mid-October, a rumour inspired by videos published on the Internet has created the presence of threatening and aggressive clowns in France.
"Symptomatic of the impact of the Internet, this phenomenon can lead to damaging individual acts and disturbances to public order."
The arrests come after a man dressed as a clown was caught in Montpellier last week, attacking a pedestrian with an iron bar.

I seriously believe the Scots are the world champions of impregnating locals. Many moons ago I used to pay out big time to a Sri Lankan I worked beside in a factory in Melbourne 'cos his surname was Stronach. The usual morning discussion would include references to the sexual conquests of Scottish tea plantation owners!
Check the history of many developing nations and there is always evidence of Scottish impregnation of locals. The former Ghanaian military dictator Gerry Rawlings who came to power in a violent military coup then executed the previous cabinet - Dad was a chemist from Castle Douglas !!!
