  1. Konbanwa!

Today was my first "mooch" day in about 7 months. Does anyone feel guilty for taking them? I didn't this time :p

Also, is it wrong that I'm starting to refresh the pages of travel agents to see their winter skijo sites are updated for the coming season yet? Yes, I am a tad excited.

  2. 'Ello chaps!

Sorry it's been a while- wandered off t'interweb due to work and stuff. Now it's the summer hols I'm back to play for a while.

...oh, wait- it's summer gasshuku. Better gambaro!

Hope all is well with folks!

Oh, and 34° here in sunny, sultry akabane.

  3. Sigur Ros has been Ruined by Britain'd got confidence issues/X factor. At least snow patrol had the common courtesy to be shit even before the Cowell grease-boat touched them.

With Sigur Ros it flew me into a blind rage, because I actually liked the songs they used when 5 year old tap dancing eczema victim William got told he can go through to next week's festival of false hope.

    Reality tv can. suck. It.

  4. Not to sound hipster, but Radiohead were fan-bloody-tasctic right up to (and maybe including) Kid A / Amnesiac. Being at Glastonbury just after they released OK computer and hearing them Belt out a ton of their golden stuff was amazing.

After they went a bit waywards, I really lost interest in them.

  5. Managers contracts need changing.

I don't know how, but there needs to be some kind of performance related thing in there.

This is not just a Moyes thing but we hear it time and time and time again don't we.

In what other profession do you get sacked for greatly underperforming, and even damaging a brand, but walk off with vast amounts of money.

    It's just ludicrous.

Being rewarded handsomly for disasterous failure.

    Bonkers.

The Banking and utilities industries have been doing it for years. At least the uk peoples don't have to pay for Moyes' screw-ups.
