if you surf or skateboard then snowboarding is somewhat similar. As to leg fatigue that comes down to fitness and technique and experience.

Myoko has a ski school with Aussie / Brit instructors, dead flat bunny slopes next to the village and one of the hotels has a crèche.

yeah i mentioned,no car, had had a look at renting. Not sure on that.. Myoko, madarao,Yuzawa, Nozawa, Zao. These are places Ive looked at..Not really keen on the aussie masses on the other island.
Renting a car you will easily escape the Aussie masses on the island of Japan.

Here in NZ I had a root canal done a while back . All done in one painless procedure. Felt the pressure while the dentist/ Haisha was doing his stuff but no pain. My understanding is that doctors and dentists in japan are extremely conservative concerning pain medication.

I'm hoping the skis were secured. I would hate to imagine what would happen in an accident if they being tossed about cabin.

Carrying skis inside the Heli ? No cargo pod on the skids. Not usual practice.

I enjoy all the images and vids posted here on SJ . Gives an insight as to the individual's personal preferences.
