Yeah, Hirafu night riding is epic when you score it at the right time!
Deep powder tree runs in the dimly lit sidecountry with your buddies. Happy days
Pretty much anywhere else sucks

As long as your neck?
Not quite, but still a respectable length :-)
-
I've been to quite a few abandonments. Maybe I will post some pics, but they are not ski/snow related.
-
Drove past the station on the highway the other day. Looks long!
-
Picked up my Fish today. Guess I'm in for life! So now just gotta count the days away for those deep tree days....
-
Onigiri, Snickers and mixed nuts in the pockets/pack for me.
No time to stop and dine with the gapers when the shred is on!
-
Breaking and entering.... Place is locked up tight.

This one is getting a bit old now ........ Goryu/47 joint winner surely

Already did it to my ROAM1. Works a treat!

The easiest way to get around this, is to take your family and go and work in another EU country for 3 months. From that country, you can take your non-EU wife and kids to the UK legally, without any income or savings requirements.
Maybe this loophole will be tightened in the future, but for now it's legit.

Checked one out today. She's a winner

Gonna go check it this weekend. Pretty sure I'm gonna take it. 250 bucks seems like a fair price for a 2007 fish with only 5 days on it.

That is unless the ROAM2 firmware bricks the camera....

I have a ROAM and am considering doing this to mine to get that 60fps rate on it.... Will let you know how it goes when I bite the bullet.

Back on topic - Looking at a good 2nd hand fish this afternoon, though.
What Fish are you checking out? How much the seller asking?

Noooooo!
So now we are basically left with the 2 sides of the same resort it seems.....
Does that mean we can finally declare goryu/47 the winner?
If not,

Dont you guys actually enjoy snowboarding as well?
I'll take the slushy park days in April and May for sure
As for riding icy groomers, s****y mogul courses, long cat tracks and stuff like that during peak season?.....Yeah, if nothing good can be hiked to on that day or I don't have my ride buddies, I'd rather just stay at home.
Save all that other stuff for the gapers!!

hey, powder fascists, its not always about the pow pow. Sometimes its about just how fun it is to get a solid fun run out.
It's ALWAYS about the powder. Cruising only the groomers is fun for about 10 mins....I wanna be ducking into the trees and getting face shots at least every 2nd run! I'm no extreme hiker either, I'm happy with the side stashes, but for me I want the pow days
I'm with Tubby , only I don't mind putting in the leg work to get the goods!
Cortina delivers waaaaay more than all the other resorts in the valley hands down.
Late season park sessions are pretty much the only time I touch 47 these days.
Which two weeks would you choose for best snow?

Last week of January through the first week of February. Pretty much peak season I would say
