Used boots are never a good idea. Boots will be moulded to the previous owner's feet through usage, which won't be the same shape as yours.... Not to mention that they will be moist and smelly. Eeeeew!

I have been riding Ride boards for the last 6 seasons, mainly the Society and DH models. I was looking at this seasons models on display and noticed that they are now being made in China. Has this just started this year? I have a 2009/10 Society and a 2007/08 Society, and they are both made in Europe. Can anyone let me know when they switched up the factory from Austria to China? Does anyone have this seasons Society?

I have a 2011 Black Diamond Avalung 'outlaw' backpack. Last years mosel was part of the product recal on the Avalung products, but they had supposedly fixed the problem for this season's model. I haven't even used the pack yet, but already the hosing looks to be stressed from rubbing against the inner frame of the main compartment. Has anyone else bought an Avalung product this season? Anyone had any problems? I would be grateful for any feedback. Neck.
