Seki Onsen really doesn't deserver a spot. The only thing about that place is the amount of snow, and you get enough of that in Myoko anyway!
Looks like a great plan though, wish I could do something like that.
-
Isn't it from somewhere coming down by the gondola?
-
Oze Hinoemata Onsen
Well, I thought that would be a tough one. Obviously not as you got it? How come?
Anyway your turn friend.

Not Fujimi Panorama

And here is a new one
-
Cool!
OK I will get a new one up later on today.

Itoigawa Seaside, though I have no idea what the place looks like. But it's near Nagano.
-
It's not as if Niigata is short of onsen hotels.....
That's right and this place wasn't your typical Japanese onsen type place.
It was more Western everything.
-
Kusatsu is just not very interesting for boarders, my friends tell me anyway.
Some would say for skiers too!
Love the onsen though.
-
Sad to hear that.
I look forward to seeing your photos.

Certainly doesn't take a huge amount of effort and would surely be appreciated.
A good idea.
-
That's right.
I must admit I do find baths in Western countries (perhaps that comment is too wide!) to be rather confusing and really not appealing.
I don't want a toilet right next to the bath. It's a bad idea.
Along with carpets.

Have we had this one yet

They simply can't ignore signs that everyone can see of course.
Other things that only the scientific bods know about is a different matter.
Mass panic on a guess is not really an option though is it.

This year I am going to be growing some veggies behind our house.
It's going to be a first time challenge.
Gambarimasu!

Not sure about the "plenty of snow" comment, though I suppose there is up at Kagura, but..... have fun!
I have family duties this weekend.
-
I agree.
I think in my friends case, they just like riding that gondola!
Must admit I'm never keen on shuttle buses myself.

Niigata > Nagaoka > Itoigawa and onwards yes

I do know a few people who stay at Naeba but mostly ski at Tashiro/Kagura.
I suppose they just get up, get over to the Gondola and ski from Tashiro.
Dont think they bother much with Naeba, but they do like staying in the little village area there.

I know some skiing friends who seem to have lost all interest in the season earlier than usual.
Presumably because of the warm weather. People's thoughts turn to spring stuff.
-
Looks like you timed it good snowdude for late late season.
-
Did you have a good season up there ILoveZao?
-
Is there any "word" on how people think the next few weeks will go?
Obviously no-one knows, but...
Did tiny ski hills ever make any sense?

I kind of like checking out far out smaller places. Not that I do it enough. There's some 'hidden gems' out there. Hard to see how most of them keep open though.
