My friend has the Sony 4K tv. Was over there weekend to check it out. Very impressive, there might not be any 4K content really yet but the BluRay playback was pretty amazing looking. The 3D is passive as well and so good on the eyes.
Interesting story.
There was a sort of 'shadow' that he noticed on the screen, about 5cm by a 10cm. Only justvisible on bright screens when a fairly uniform picture. Of course once he found it, he noticed it more and more - even though it really was not major. I saw it myself.
Was wondering whether to call up support but it bothered him enough to end up doing so.
Support came. They admitted the 'clouding'/'shadow', but tried to palm it off as within the limits of what is acceptable.
He told them it was not acceptable, after all, this is a very expensive piece of equipment.
After pushing his point, Sony gave in and agreed to replace the display.
New one is better and he is happy with it.
It must be difficult for the companies because a 100% perfect LCD is impossible (?).
But it's annoying to be told that you have to put up with something, however small, on a pricey tv.
They rely quite a bit on people putting up with these little things.

For me, I like 47 best. Not keen on Happo for the times I have been there have just been too many moguls. And I prefer the 47 side to Goryu, even though I suppose they can count as one.

I went.
It was indeed very large.
And expensive.
But yes better than being outside on a weekenday in summer, outside of the main holiday periods!

What do you make of this scandal involving restaurants misleading customers about what they are serving.
I reckon there's loads of this goes on. The ones in the news are just the unlucky ones to be caught.

I watched Titanic 3D on a huge screen at friends house over the weekend.
I must admit, it was very impressive.

Which has to do with the fit.....if there are gaps between ur skin and the foam then ur gonna get fogging. You don't like dragons, it's cool but I think they are fine and I also "have spoken to others who've said the same". It's all opinions
no. its the poor venting at the top of the APX design. me asian face and my white buddy and 2 girls is plenty of variety to exclude fit.
i love the way they look, theyre just a major disappointment over my oakley crowbars and eg2s.
Oh yeah....4 people covers all face shapes.
Whatever you don't like dragons, cool...my point being that everyone is different. I've had a great experience with Dragons, other people have too, the OP should go try on a bunch and see which ones are best

This is meant to be a friendly post.
But please, snowboarding people, can you please get out of the way when you get off a lift.
Don't just sit there all lined up at the top of the run almost completely blocking it for everyone else to get past.
Can't you just go to the side or something. You know, let people past.
