remember that until a few seasons ago boards like teh summit were effectively just freeride cambered charging boards. People rode them happily as their pow stick. We dont all want the same shit. Thats really what i mean.
Got that right on Ippy. I agree that if you got a base or means to carry so many boards, it will be a different ball game... and thatz what people started doin an enjoying.

DIY board is the only way to go when it comes to powder. I`m 60 kg but I go looong ...like 170 - 180 . If you have a base to keep your boards for that day. Personally I don^t like the backfoot style one develops when ridin boards like fish/hovercraft

Looks like to me he did that on purpose ... not trying to piss you off even more, but .... He defo took off from behind to catch up with you. Whether he wanted to be part of a scene (?) he had plenty of space to evade and not grab your boom

Are these pellets like those some people use for BBQ ? How often do you have to feed them in a stove? My experience with wood stoves are that you have to spend some time geting to know em
all have its own character ... I do like the fact that hardwood in Oz smells good, and I can chuck a decent size at night and that would be going all night to keep it warm and in the morning (if you do it right) you can get it going from whats left ... not bagging anyones choice btw -
We had this discussion before, but I can`t find the thread I put up. I remember someone recommending me MSR. They were bloody expensive in Germany so I gave it a miss. But if it was like under 100 bucks, I would probably carry a pair in my pack (just in case) even if I were on splitboards.

JA is lucky (well, he worked on them) to have stuff to burn. Firewood is expensive - you gotta have property with trees growing and falling and time to dry them. I would put a ceiling fan (revolution both ways for summer and winter) to keep the walm air down ... I guess with low ceilings it doesn`t matter ....

I had one very similar (nearly the same) as JA. IMHO, this is IT. Can open the front door and you get REAL open fire. You can put a kettle on top and make a cuppa plus acts as a humidifier !

Catch22 - I went to Shoku-an (halowork) and I need a valid visa to register to get employment. I can get Tei-jyu visa first that gives me a lot of options. After a year, I can apply for permanent residency. As for the citizenship,10 to 20 years (so they say after getting permanent residency)

Cheers, really appriciate the offer. but I really mean We lost everything. I am camping in my parents backyard and have to wait for 3 months till I can get a visa so I can work. I reckon I stuff this anｄ go to Europe and work the summer and come back with a visa. I will keep the rental situ in my mind
