Nikko Yumoto Onsen is about 24km from the Kiyotaki IC on the Nikko Utsunomiya Road.

From the Kiyotaki IC exit head west on Route 120 towards Lake Chuzenji. Be sure to enjoy the famous winding Irohazaka section of the road on the way. Continue past Lake Chuzenji until reaching the Yumoto Onsen area near Yuno Lake.

Route 120 continues beyond Yumoto Onsen into Katashina village in neighbouring Gunma Prefecture, but that section of the road is closed during the snow season.

Free parking is available near the base of the ski area.
