Chateraise Ski Valley Koumi can be reached easily from the Joshinetsu Expressway and Chubu Odan Expressway from the north and the Chuo Expressway from the south.
From the Nagasaka IC of the Chuo Expressway turn left onto Prefecture Road 32 and after about 500m turn left again onto Prefecture Road 28. After about 12km turn left onto Route 141 and about 22km later turn left onto Prefecture Road 480 (Matsubara lake entrance traffic lights) and follow the road up to the ski area.
There is car parking at the base of the ski area for 1,200 vehicles across several car parks.
