There is no shuttle bus service from local stations. Some tour buses go to the ski area.


A taxi from Nobeyama Station takes about 5 minutes and normally costs around 1500-1600 yen.

By road

Chateraise Ski Valley Nobeyama can be reached easily from the Joshinetsu Expressway and Chubu Odan Expressway from the north and the Chuo Expressway from the south.


From the Nagasaka IC of the Chuo Expressway turn left onto Prefecture Road 32 and after about 500m turn left again onto Prefecture Road 28. After about 12km turn left onto Route 141 and then just over 3km later turn right at the sign to head up to the ski area.


There is parking for 1,000 vehicles at the base area of the ski area on five car parks.


Parking is free every day of the season.
