The base of Hiraya Kogen is right by the side of Route 153, otherwise known as the Sanshu Highway, south of the central area of Hiraya village.


The Iida Yamamoto IC and Sonohara IC to the north of the ski area are the nearest exits on the Chuo Expressway. From that area take Route 153 to the south and follow the road to reach Hiraya Kogen.

There is parking for about 1000 vehicles available at the base of Hiraya Kogen on two car parks. Parking is free on weekdays and 500 yen on weekends and holidays.
