Chausuyama Kogen is a ski area located in Toyone Village in the northeast of Aichi Prefecture, close to the border with Nagano Prefecture.

This ski area is on the southern slopes of Chausuyama at a top elevation of about 1360m and the only ski area in Aichi Prefecture.


The ski area has two pair lifts that run in parallel, with one slightly longer than the other. There are also two moving walkways.


Snowboarding is only allowed on weekdays; only skiers on weekdays!


Chausuyama Kogen has been open since 1986.

Normal season dates

Chausuyama Kogen usually plans to be open from mid-December until mid-March. See below for the actual opening and closing dates in recent seasons.


Normal opening times

Chausuyama Kogen is usually open in the daytime from 8:30am until 4:30pm.


Night skiing

There is no night skiing.


Families & children

There is a play area and sledging course. Two 60m and 120m 'belcon' (conveyor belts) service this area.


Lessons

Ski lessons are available at Chausuyama Kogen.


Rental

Ski and snowboard equipment & wear rental is available.

The 4 Hour ticket is valid for four hours from the time of purchase.


A 1 day ticket valid only on the moving walkway is 500 yen.

Aichi Prefecture is located in the Chubu region of the main island of Honshu.


Chausuyama Kogen is very close to the border of Aichi Prefecture and southern region of Nagano Prefecture.


Chausuyama Kogen is the only ski area in the Aichi Prefecture.
