Akita Hachimantai is just over 27km from the Kazuno Hachimantai IC exit on the Tohoku Expressway.


From the IC exit turn left onto Route 282 and after less then 4km turn right onto Route 341. After about 17.5km on the road, turn left onto Prefecture Road 23 at the signpost to head up to the base of the ski area.


About 30 minutes from Kazuno Hachimantai IC.About 70 minutes from Matsuo Hachimantai IC.


Parking is available for 400 cars at the base of the ski area. Parking is free every day of the season.
