The latest Hakuba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Hakuba. It has been a lovely morning. Fine blue skies and sunshine. Roads are completely dry, though there is some snow to report since yesterday. More of the same is expected tomorrow and Saturday, the latter expected to be particularly warm. T-shirts at the ready, perhaps. Last season on 20th March the official snow depth at Kurobishi (Happo-one ski area) was 290cm. On the same day this year, it is 610cm. Over double! That just goes to show how much snow we got this season. -------------------------------- Apology time: I had Kurobishi (黒菱)mis-spelled on the daily list below... and for quite a while. As the typo mistake was there earlier in the season, it has been copy/pasted over each morning with the list without me noticing. Doh! The correct name is, of course, Kurobishi (the 'bishi' the same as in 'Mitsubishi'), not Kurobushi. Gomen!
