The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba. It is a lovely sunny morning, but importantly with another 7cm of snow to report. No wind and excellent visibility. Today is a national holiday and it is definitely busier than a normal weekday. I'm guessing that some people will be taking tomorrow off to make it a long 4-day and so tomorrow might well be busy too. It is a lovely time to be out on the mountain, though. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba. What a surprise this morning! We were told to expect maybe about 10cm but just measured 30 cm of fresh snow. It’s not perfectly dry and light, but it should still make for some enjoyable off-piste riding. The weather is cloudy with snowfall. Visibility is fair at the base but looks poor higher up. It’s windy at higher elevations, with lighter winds at the bottom. Gondola No. 2 is spinning, so hopefully, it starts on schedule. However, due to increasing winds, the Dragondola will be closed for the day. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Morning from Naeba. We have another beautiful day, with a mix of sunshine and partial clouds. A thin layer of 4 cm of fresh snow has settled at the base this morning. The wind is light, and visibility is excellent. Snow clouds are expected to return late this afternoon, bringing another snowfall overnight, possibly continuing into tomorrow. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba. Yesterday's snow forecast turned out to be heavy rain all day, but luckily, it changed to snow overnight, giving us another 4cm of fresh, wet snow. It's cloudy with the sun shining through, and there's a slight breeze at the bottom. Visibility is good, and with no crowds, it's a great day to carve some turns! The Tashiro Area of Kagura is closed today due to wind and so the Dragondola is closed. We are expecting more snow between now and Wednesday. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . There is 7 cm of new, wet snow at the base, and it’s still coming down. It’s cloudy, with fair visibility at the bottom and poor visibility higher up. Due to the wind, the Kagura, Mitsumata, and Tashiro areas are closed. At Naeba, only the bottom lifts are open, while Gondola 2 and the Dragondola are both closed. Take it easy—it might be icy underneath the new layer of snow! The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba. It is snowy and windy this morning but visibility is not too bad. 19cm since yesterday and it's pretty good quality too. Checks calendar. Nice. Tashiro Area of Kagura is closed this morning and so Dragondola is also not operating. From tomorrow we should get calmer weather and the snow will have stopped. If you like sunny skies, Sunday and Monday are looking promising. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba. After a few sunny days, the snow is back! We got 9 cm overnight, and it's still coming down. Winter might stick around until the weekend, possibly bringing some fresh snow each day - we’ll see! It’s cloudy with a bit of wind. Visibility is fair at the bottom but poor up top. The new snowfall isn’t thick enough yet, so black runs remain firm. Gondola 2 and Dragondola are both running, with only the top lift still closed. Hopefully, the snow keeps accumulating and brings some soft turns tomorrow. Fingers crossed! The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba. It is cloudy and a bit windy this morning, with 2cm of rather wet (rather than light and dry) snow to report. Visibility at the top of the mountain is poor, but the area in front of the hotel has fair visibility. The weather has finally calmed down and the groomed runs are looking good. Clearer skies are expected even today, but a good chance tomorrow and Saturday too along with mild conditions. There is no new snow overnight, visibility is excellent, and the wind is calm. It's still cold, keeping the snow crisp, but the coming days will bring much warmer temperatures. The latest Naeba Now report can be found here . Good morning from Naeba!. It's snowing again, there is some wind and the visibility is limited. The snowfall since yesterday was 7cm. Because the cold weather continues, it is really nice quality powder snow. Unfortunately, the mountaintop area is closed due to the possibility of avalanches. It's crowded again today due to it being a national holiday.
