The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . A nice day yesterday with the snow starting in the evening and this morning the resort is reporting 15-20cm of fresh snow on the slopes. I'd say up to 15cm or so at base area. Nice snow by the looks too, so conditions should be refreshed after yesterday which actually ended rather tracked out and hard in places. The busy conditions of course didn't help, so the early people today should be rewarded. It's about -6 degrees at the moment and snow falling, poor visibility out on the mountain. If it's still there, I can't see it! Good snowfall now though and so hopefully we'll be getting a decent amount fall today. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Lovely blue clear skies over Madarao Kogen this morning. A cold start but it should warm up during the day today and just a slight wind. The next few days we are going to be venturing into 'unseasonably warm' territory, with the mercury rising above zero - and in the case of tomorrow and early Saturday potentially a fair bit above that level. Chance of rain as well. Please no! For now though a fine day today I reckon. All of the resort is open as planned. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Earlier this morning I could see the mountain and while there was a lot of cloud around it was fairly clear and good visibility. That soon changed and while we have no new snow until this morning it is coming down now. Snowing and poor visibility outside now with the report actually reporting 5cm. It's currently -3 degrees here at base with a 3m/s wind. All of Madarao is open as normal. Sun is due tomorrow and it's going to warm up on Friday and Saturday in particular. Going to get very mild over the weekend by the looks and we might even get some rain. Let's try not to think about that just yet though! The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . We got powder this morning. The resort is reporting 30-40cm on the slopes this morning and definitely a fair amount underfoot at base as well. A temperature of -8C and light snow was still falling but just before the sun was shining through some clouds over Madarao. While the sun has popped back behind the clouds now it does somehow feel that clear up may be on the way and the forecast does say that should be the case. After this snow clears up, not a whole lot forecast in the coming week as it stands - but lots of fresh to play in this morning. It should be quite busy today. All of the resort should be open this morning, and conditions should be great. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . It's got real cold and real snowy real quick at Madarao. 10cm fell overnight but it is currently dumping and forecast to snow all day. So if you like your goggles fogged and your face frostbitten. Today is just right for you. The snow is forecast to ease off by tomorrow, so Sunday may be a better day if you don`t like fogged lens and frostbite. If on top of the frostbite and fogged goggles, you also want to risk a major fracture to add to the joy, you can also try the new free ride park at Madarao. About 5cm in the base areas and the resort saying there have up to 10cm on the slopes. It's strangely rather mild too with the temperature right now just under zero. There's even a tiny bit of sun peeping through the clouds just at the moment, but at the same time it is snowing and due to get colder and snow heavier so it does seem to be on the way. The latest Madarao Now report can be found here . Beautiful clear skies here in Madarao this morning. Not a cloud to be seen. Well not in the region anyway. Just nice clear skies and it's a calm morning. No new snow to report. Temperature is at -2C. If the forecast is to be believed we are in for a ride from tomorrow with temperatures dropping, strong winds blowing around and more importantly.... a lot of snowfall. That would be good. The storm is due to continue into Saturday with things calming down by Sunday but when they get going sometimes they like to stick around. Of course, we'll let you know. All planned to be open today. The rain turned into snow I am happy to report and this morning there's up to 15cm of new snow on the slopes. It's nice to be back to things being colder too. Not much of a wind and a generally calm and fine morning. Not deep blue skies but the sun is out. Perhaps not enough new snow to completely cover up some icy parts and so the groomers might be the pick of the bunch today and looked in very nice condition when I was walking out there just before. The tree runs are open again today.
