The ski areas in Japan that remain 'skiers only' for the 2026-2027, and therefore do not allow snowboarding, are:

• Fujimi Kogen (Nagano Prefecture) * snowboarding allowed during evening sessions in recent seasons

• Gozaisho (Mie Prefecture)

• Katashina Kogen (Gunma Prefecture)

• Kiso Fukushima (Nagano Prefecture)

• NASPA Ski Garden (Niigata Prefecture)

• Zao Sarukura (Yamagata Prefecture)

There may be some exceptions at very small local ski areas (and please do let us know if you are aware of any).
