Edelweiss Ski Resort is located in the northern region of Nikko city in Tochigi Prefecture, to the north of Mt Takahara. The resort is just off the Nichien Momiji line toll. While not connected, Hunter Mountain Shiobara is just to the south of Hunter Mountain.
Tochigi Prefecture is located to the north of Tokyo and is perhaps best known for the Nikko and the famous Toshogu Shrine, Lake Chuzenji, Kegon Falls, the Oku Nikko area and also the mountainous region in the north that includes Mt Takahara and Mt Nasu.

Information
The resort is about 21km from Kinugawa Onsen Station on the Kinugawa line, and about 38km from Nasu Shiobara Station on the Tohoku Shinkansen line.
On weekends and holidays a free shuttle bus leaves Kinugawa Onsen Station at 9:00am. The journey takes about 50 minutes.

Direction
Edelweiss Ski Resort is about 30km from the Nishi Nasuno Shiobara IC on the Tohoku Expressway.
From the IC exit turn right onto Route 400 and after about 17.5km turn left onto the Nichien Momiji Line toll road (the charge is 610 yen). The resort is just over 12km along this road on the left hand side. Approaching from the south (central Nikko city), head north on Route 121 and then take the Nichien Momiji Line.
