Light flurry episodes throughout the day yesterday with another 7cm to add to the report this morning.

The snow has continued through the night and it is a cloudy morning.

We had a great dump of snow yesterday. The snow today is crunchy underfoot.

It is snowing and is going strong, though not a huge number in terms of cm early on.

This morning I was woken up by the rumbling and beeping of a snow plow. Yesterday's rain turned into large flakes and left just over 4cm of the good stuff.

Yesterday, it was a beautiful day. The snow from previous days has melted and hardened.

Today’s newest snowfall of just over 2cm was observed today.

A good 20cm or so this morning with it piling up at the side of the roads, and probably more higher up on the mountain.

It is snowing this morning and we have a layer on the ground with more due over the next several days.

The snowfall has eased off now and it is mostly just cloudy. The sun might even appear.

After some whispers and opinions about whether the ski area could remain open through Golden Week, I have confirmed news... it can't.

The ski area is still open with just the top Chuo runs available though there's not a whole lot of people still playing in the remaining snow now.

Well, a little late, but there was some fresh snow over the weekend... around 10cm in town areas and probably more on the mountain. How about that, then?!
