Hello from Zao.
The ski area is still open with just the top Chuo runs available though there's not a whole lot of people still playing in the remaining snow now.
Earlier this morning rain was reported up there but it is clearer now and quite bright.
We can probably expect some good weather for the weekend and it might even be quite cold at times too.
The following lifts are still open (subject to change):
- Zao Onsen Ropeway
- Zao Ropeway
- Sky Cable
- Chuo Number 1 pair
- Chuo Number 2 pair
- All other lifts are now closed for the season
