It was a beauty of a day yesterday, though it warmed up to around 9C in town.

Last night/overnight the region got some rain and just a dusting of snow, just about justifying the 1cm in the report this morning (though that is long gone as I write this).

There seems to have been a dusting of snow in places overnight, but the day starts fine and sunny and we have clear blue skies over the town.

Yesterday was interesting one. Yuzawa enjoyed quite a lot of blue sky and sunshine while it was still snowing in the valley to the north.

Very good news! Over 50cm of fresh snow, both in Yuzawa town areas and Ishiuchi just to the north of Yuzawa.

It is snowing and we already have a 10cm+ layer of new snow around town. (Much less just to the north).

Yesterday was a good day in terms of snowfall.

Kagura was so busy yesterday that they actually had to turn people away from mid-morning!

There has been just a bit of a dusting really around town since yesterday (which has mostly gone since early morning).

After the rain yesterday, we have some wet snow around town this morning, several cm in places, but the roads are clear.
