Yesterday that light snow didn't amount to much though at times and in higher areas it did continue to come down from the sky lightly. No new cm to add to the report though from the day yesterday...

Some fresh snow this morning. Not really around town, but higher up.

And after a day of part fine / part cloud yesterday, it was snowing (rather wet snow) in the evening and overnight.

It's snowing again!

Yesterday, the snow clouds were generally tracking to the north of the Yuzawa and Minamiuonuma region, and here we actually had some sunshine and blue skies during the day.

Wow, what an early morning it should be today!

Yesterday was cloudy and grey for the day, with rain coming in the evening.

Yesterday fairly quickly became a generally 'cloudy/overcast' day with some rain starting in the afternoon.

It was snowing quite heavily for a short while about an hour ago, but it didn't last long

Morning from Yuzawa and an improvement on yesterday, which turned out to be a proper wet and rainy day - in town anyway.

After a day of snow and sometimes strong winds yesterday -- 20cm more fresh on the ground around town (I kind of thought it would be more than that, but wind may be playing a part) -- this morning has started off calm and sunny.

After putting up with quite a lot of rain and wet yesterday here at town level, it is very nice to be able to report a good layer of fresh snow on the ground - and snow still falling this morning, and forecast for the day.
