Lots of snow in the region but actually less so up here in Shiga Kogen. Sometimes that happens.

A blanket of 10-15cm on the ground since yesterday (Kumanoyu reporting 15cm.

A little snowfall overnight (Kumanoyu again reporting 5cm; less measured by me), and it feels quite cold this morning.

It was a fairly mild overnight but it is snowing this morning. Not a whole lot on the ground, more like a thin layer.

It is a cloudy/foggy kind of morning with some fresh snowfall on the mountains (though not a whole lot on the ground - Kumanoyu reporting 5cm).

And after some more snow, right now the sun is shining through. It's a lovely morning. Don't you just love it when things turn white.

There's some good winter scenes here this morning, with fresh snow on the ground and snow falling from the skies.

2020 has certainly been an eventful year in so many ways. Wherever you are in the world, I hope this message finds you and yours safe and well.

This is my last report of the season as today is the last day of the season.

Another dusting of snow here and there does actually look like there might be further dustings (or more) over the coming days, particularly Monday.

It's snowing and there is a thin layer of snow on the ground.

Some snow from yesterday morning post-report but this morning there's clear blue skies above us.
