Independent snow and weather reporting from the Shiga Kogen region of Nagano

New snowfall at base 2cm
Snowfall at base this season 563cm

Posted on Monday 6th April 2020 This is an archived report. The latest Shiga Kogen Now report can be found here.

Morning from Shiga Kogen.

It's snowing and there is a thin layer of snow on the ground.

Yakebitaiyama are reporting 2-3cm. It is cold too. Feels like winter.

Some more lifts are closed again for weekday operations and I have updated the info below.

Note that it is quite windy as well and some lifts that are planned to be moving may be affected.

Tomorrow should be clearer and calmer.

Unless I have something significant to report, next update before the weekend.
