I am pleased to report that we do actually have some fresh snow this morning.

Winter yesterday, getting a bit spring again over the next few days.

Feels cold early on this morning and light snow is falling; heavier in some places (hello Okushiga).

Morning. It's the last weekend of February.

Morning....and we do have sun and so conditions should be excellent this morning.

It's a mid-winter morning with heavy snow, blowing wind, cold temps and limited to poor visibility. Not very friendly conditions out there.

Back to snow this morning.

In the middle of the night Yakebitaiyama were reporting 10cm of fresh snowfall, and as of 7am Kumanoyu are reporting another 5cm.

It is a real mid-winter morning here.

It is noticeably colder this morning and we have snow falling again.

We have had light snow falling early this morning but that seems to have eased off and there is sun breaking through clouds in places.

It's another windy morning, of the southerly kind, with snow falling though not much to report in terms of cm.

It's a windy and snowy morning here in Shiga Kogen.

After some light snow and foggy conditions early on, things seem to be starting to clear with some hints of blue sky appearing places.
