Light snow falling early this morning in Shiga Kogen and another 5cm or so to report. Nice and cold so the conditions are keeping.

Good morning from Shiga Kogen. And yes it is a good one today with some of nice light snow to report to you.

Yesterday we said that today might start with clearer skies. And so it is.

About 15cm of fresh snowfall outside my place here in Shiga Kogen this morning. There's snow on the roads and limited visibility.

It is snowing, though right now as I type this there's even a bit of sun coming through the mostly cloudy skies.

Just a dusting really since my report yesterday here in Shiga Kogen.

I have some snow to report. 12cm of it as well and resorts are reporting 10-15cm of snow.

A very different feel to this morning with clear blue skies and the sun shining brightly. Still remaining very cold though.

Pretty wild blizzard like conditions earlier on this morning.

There's 5cm or so of fresh snow to report this morning from Shiga Kogen... probably more in higher areas.

Yesterday drizzly sleet 'stuff' was falling in Shiga Kogen, but thankfully early this morning it has turned into something more like what you can call 'snow'.

The good news is that the rain turned into snow overnight and there has actually been some snow fall up here in Shiga Kogen.

Yesterday we saw a number of resort areas open up courses and get lifts moving.
